Meagan E. MacKinnon

I earned my degree from the University of New Hampshire as a double business major. I hold the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation and various securities licenses through Commonwealth Financial Network. After several years working in the energy sector in Boston, I found my true calling in 2014 when I started my career in the investment industry. I joined Nvest as a Financial Consultant and am a valued member of the Nvest Financial team, helping clients with the financial planning and investment process.

The best part of my job is working in Nvest’s team environment, helping people in a meaningful way – empowering individuals and families to secure their financial futures. The unknown is scary and our goal at Nvest is to eliminate some of that uncertainty. We work together to understand where you are now and what your goals are, to create a strategy that helps get you there.

I live in beautiful coastal Maine with my husband and two children. As a mom of young boys, I’ve learned that life can be chaotic and unpredictable, which is why good financial plans are so important. I try to teach them to enjoy the little things and maintain focus on the things that matter most.
